Herston's first juice boxI have always said that I wanted "3 kids, maybe 4." For a while after Larissa, I thought I was done. I was like a tweenager; I constantly doodled 2011, the year all my kids would be in kindergarten. That was the year I even started grad school.
Then visions of Disneyland ran through my head. Our family would not be even! In making the decision, I noticed that every time I read the scriptures I would randomly turn to a passage about the "last born".
I needed Herston. I needed him to remind me of faith. I needed him to teach me about miracles.
Everytime Herston goes in for a medical procedure, they find something wrong. Unfortunately, there is also always complications.
His next surgery is March 8, and I can't stop my mind from wandering to think about the surgery. I have been warned that this is a very complicated, long surgery, and he will require hospitalization afterwards.
I think the mental prep for this surgery is much worse than the bowel preps in the past.
