Tapped Out!

Happy Halloween-A Preview

Island Of The Princess Barbie, Race Car Driver, & My Cat.

Raea had a school parade that went through the neighborhood. I couldn't believe the party! A lady in my ward set up a refreshments in her driveway, so we could see the kids pass by.

My Helpers

The weekends that I work I literally disappear from the land of the living. Mondays I call my recovery days because it's where I try to compensate for all the missed hours of sleep from the weekend.

To honor all the help I got, here is a picture of Ethan. Raea fell asleep on the couch, so he put her blanket on her.

Frustration Is Mounting

Ok, so I was told I had to download Firefox for my program at home. I was actually excited because I have heard good things about Firefox. Well, I like it. I like the tabs, etc. However, I couldn't view any streaming media. (It actually sucks worse than you can imagine. I can't add any pizam toys.)

Anyway, 1 hour 36 minutes 14 seconds and 17,000 programs later my IT guy tells me "Looks like you will just have to use Firefox for the program and Safari for everything else."

As many of you know, I am an all-or-nothing type of girl. Am just supposed to waste time switching between internet browsers? As I went to bed last night, I decided this would be a good challenge. I could over come my all-or-nothing attitude.

Well, this morning as I start both my browsers I realize Safari no longer has streaming media. I want to puke I am so mad.

Someone out there has to be able to help me?!?!!?

Security Purse

Some kids have a security blanket, but Larissa has a security purse. Sleeping, eating, it doesn't matter; she always has a purse.

Cheer

Today was Raea's first game for cheerleading. She did a much better job the second half when I think she finally got it. I still don't think the football players knew we were there.

The uniform is so cute that she is still wearing it.

Grand Canyon Reflections

I have had a chance now to reflect on my favorite part of our family reunion.

My sister and my mom INSISTED that they watch my kids, so Grant and I could go on the adult hike. Although the adult hike fizzled, it left Grant and I alone to do whatever we wanted. We hiked to a look out spot, laid on our bellies, put our heads over the edge, and talked. It was great. Sometimes you need to put life on hold and just chill with your loved one. It is only then that you can really see the grandeur that surrounds you.

Although I have already thanked my sister and my mom, I want to thank you again.

Genetic Roulette

Today was Ethan's eye appointment. I was concerned about his neck, and he colors with his head on the table. The first thing the doctor said when he saw me wearing my glasses was, "Wow, you have bad eyes."

Well, Ethan's eyes are great with no potential for a long time to have problems. "As far as the coloring 2 inches away from the paper is concerned, let him. He's 2." The doctor also said, "he must have his father's genetics."

I got the Genetics lecture, track #5 from the doctor. It is only a matter of time when you play genetic roulette. Hey, I may be blind, but I lived. He then said he couldn't let me leave in good conscience without checking Larissa's eyes.

He wants her to come back before she starts school.

We Are Back

My camera was dead for most of the trip, so enjoy the real historian.

Hopefully more details to follow.

We Are OK & No One Was Hurt

As I write this, my hands are still shaking from the adrenaline.

Today I had lunch with a friend at the mall when I noticed Ethan had pooped his pants so much that poop was plopping on the floor. I had no wipes since I planned for a quick trip. I tried to go to the family bathroom, but it was out of order.

In the regular bathroom, I tried to go to the handicap stall since it was bigger, but someone was inside already. I put Ethan on the potty, so he could finish his business. He had poop all down his legs and got poop all over the seat. I just threw away his underwear. I tried to clean his legs off with cheap toilet paper and water while Larissa just waited in her stroller.

Then I heard a male voice talking in Spanish on a cell phone from the handicap stall. I panicked! He had been in there the whole time! What kind of pervert would just hide in the stall! I thought about running out, but Ethan was covered in poop. Should I just take him naked and poopy to save all of us? I thought about calling 911 from inside the stall, but then he would hear it. I thought if someone would come in, I would just signal them to get help. I decided to put his pants on, get help, and finish cleaning him up later.

Then four hispanic men enter the bathroom. Were these his friends? Reinforcement for him to get us? Then I asked, "Is this the boy's bathroom?"

I guess I didn't see the urinals on the way in.

YEAH!

I hope you can see the source of my excitement from this picture. I gave Larissa mini ponies! It is about time.
