I thought the surgical hat was so cute. I think he remembered it from last time, so it never stayed on long.
The children's hospital knew how to entertain him before taking him into surgery.
Right after surgery, he was admitted to the ICU. He was having a hard time keeping his oxygen up. The nurses rushed the room a couple of times in the middle of the night, so neither one of us got any sleep. The next day he wouldn't let me put him down, and he finally feel asleep in my arms.
So, this probably isn't the magic surgery. He won't breath so loud, and he will hopefully get less lung infections, but he still won't be able to swallow any liquids. We still have a long road, but his developmental pediatrician was impressed. Our next stop is to the pediatric geneticists.
