General Conference

It was another great conference weekend, but like every time, I can't wait to go back to review the talks that pulled on my heart strings. 

For me, one of those was Elder Holland.

Fancy Nancy

A Fancy Nancy party is right up this little girls' alley.

I'm sure having a super intelligent brother one grade ahead of you is hard, especially when you are young for your grade and a have a reading specialist. 

After three months of testing, it was confirmed through IQ testing that she is so smart! 

I sent her to school with a smile and a message:

I love you!  You are smart! Take your time because you will get it right! 

You should have seen her beaming. 

Confidence-- her new best accessory. 

Remember when this boy was little. 

He's so handsome.

Healing Fields

The site of all those flags was overwhelming, each representing a victim of 9-11.

Herston stopped here to say a prayer for Joey, the "sports nut" who would have been cool to play with.

Before we left, Herston went back to visit Joey, so he could give him his new flag. 

Sled Dogs

"Mom, did you know sled dogs will still run injured? They follow the lead dog even if their feet are bleeding and don't want to continue. All the dogs do it because they love their Master."

Soccer opening weekend

Poor Ethan didn't get a photo because the sun came out and would have melted all electronics.
